I was thinking about the dentist and that magazine my dentist always had with easy puzzles for kids.  I think it was called Scholastic.  So here is a puzzle of the same magnitude.  What did I loose?

I lost them.  I don't know when, it could have been up to a year ago.  If I had noticed I would have rejoiced sooner, or I might have changed my two year commitment my gluttony could have caused them to return.

Dead End.

What to do.

People often ask me how I choose my friends, because they where all so different from me. My first best friend was swave, he could con his way to the front of the line any time he wanted. Then there was my next best friend, talk about an understated character, sure he was feisty but he wouldn't ever tell you what he wanted. He had this odd hobby of memorizing maps and the times of traffic lights at 12 years old. For two years of my life my best friend was a true rebel. He had the run of the town. Sure he was coarse, but you knew he had your back.

I've never fit in. Not in any group.  I guess that is why I spent 3 years in an Asian felloship.  Most of the time I did not even notice.

For all my friends the last contact that was made was made by me. They all faded away. So bad that I can't even remember the rebel's name. What am I to do. I am a man with no past. No experience. No connections.

So Yeah.

I have had a job for a week now and lets just say it is not what I hoped for.

I was not even going to tell anyone because I had another job in the oven for the ideal company. Apparently the job was under baked because they told be to call back this summer. The man who interviewed me, Mr. O'Hara, seemed to be really impressed by my interview and when delivering the bad news told me he would be willing to give me hints about interviewing at other companies and even be a reference. But I have no other offers. I know that I should correspond with him to build a contact. What do I say?

I am spending my time assembling equipment for a very small company (8 people). He hired me as an engineer but is only paying me $10 per hour until the 6 month review. This would be fine if I was learning anything, but that would only be possible if there was someone to learn from. There are no other Electrical Engineers.
